scorpion exhaust installed - BMW Forum

Took me an hour and a half to get the bitch on (rusty) fitment was fine but the exhaust is quieter than my stock muffler. my intake is louder. Hopefully in a few weeks it will break in

yeah i was going to put on some high flow cats - i dont get it though i heard from someone that the scorpions were loud?

its supposed to be louder with higher acceleration. BMW exhausts aren't supposed to be loud...they are supposed to sound sportier. Sometimes sportier might be a deeper but quieter. You don't wanting a BMW with a damn cannister on the back sounding like a stupid lawnmower engine or weedwacker or something...Hey, if you don't like it, at least it probably looks really good...

yeah i looks good , just wish it had some tone to it. at least my intake makes a growl

That sucks hearing about an exhaust your disappointed in. I'm looking for an exhaust system for my 328is and the concensus seems to be UUC system U. I'm still not sure what I'm going with though. I have other priorities...tires. I can't see just buying new tires for my stock rims, when there are some Kick A** rims, I want to put on my car...17" Antera 309 series. That's my next purchase. Once I get those on I'll post some before & after photo's. I'm quite happy right now and getting happier with each upgrade.
