I'm a bit gutted. Surface rust has started to appear on the N/S wheel arch of my 1995 BMW 316i. May I ask how many of you have been affected by rust in this area? Also, how much would it cost to have it sorted and how urgent of a matter is it? And how much of a job is it to have the panel replaced?
I had rust in the same spot. What I did was sand it down till there was no more rust then sprayed some rust killing paint on it and then painted over that with the factory color. I just did it last week so I don't know if the rust will come back.
