Running out of ideas... (coolant sensor)

Yes, I've checked the coolant level, replaced the sensor-bobber thing, replaced the actual plug, cleaned the actual plug... I still get the fucking low coolant level warning! ARGH! It only pops up when I turn the car off. What could it possibly be???

i got that error all the time on the 3er, checked the coolant level a few times, car never overheated, so i stopped caring, not like it would stay on or anything, just when i turned the car off, no biggie

wiring maybe, personally id leave it alone...that shit is thuper annoying nig....

as long as ur coolant aint leaking, and if as long as u can see ur level, jsut keep checking it ...

When you change the sensor wouldn't you have to potentially flush your cooling system? Maybe it got air in it, so the reading is off?

UPDATE: It was the the thermostat housing. Apparently, it's common for them to warp due to them being so close to the radiator.
