Hey guys,

1995 318i - but I think this is the same for all E36's

When I drive at speed I hear a rumbling noise. Turns out there is a black plastic cover under the mouts of the wiper arms, and it covers up the edge of the windsheild / body.

The peice is totally brittle and cracking, and has thus come loose and catches wind and rattles. The noise drives me nuts.

Has anyone removed or replaced this peice? It looks purely cosmetic.

Attached is the pic of what I am talking about. You can see there is a 1/2" strip broken away along most of the length.
