uneven idle revs bounces around for a bit, almost about to stall
then when i accelerate quickly then slow right down it almost stalls, "and yes it has stalled doing it"
1994 bmw 318i e36 m43
i have a new engine ready to be installed so if its an engine problem good cos it will be gone soon, but if its not, wat is this problem
Sounds like a sticky and or dirty ICV valve... Locate that sucker .. take it out.. and clean it.. then rubbing alcohol... and let it dry.. then put it back in..
Idle Control Valve.....i think its near your intake manifold, but not exactly sure. definately a DIY though i would think

AMG can't build an NA engine that can compete with M engines, so they stick in a supercharger and say their cars are faster. BMW could simply do the same, but they don't out of principle.</span>
The idle control valve probably need replacing. I replaced mine once. The flucuating idle is back but I havent replaced it again. It doesnt stall and its only a slight flucuation.
