| Wow, that is a new question. I highly doubt that any one here has done this. i do believe we have a shortage of vert owners here anyway, yet alone ones that would have done such a swap themselves, or the swap period. So I will give you some advice as to what I would do if I were wanting to do this swap. Start by calling the dealership, ask them how much it would be for the parts, then the labor, get the part numbers that you would need to do the swap ect. then say thank you and hang up. Then start calling independant but reputable shops. I would imagine you might have to do it through a body shop. If you are looking to do it yourself, best of luck to you. I would buy a bently manual and see how to take it apart, look at the diagrams, hopefully some vert memeber here with the roll over package will give you some snap shots of whatever they can get to with a camera, then start looking at what you are going to have to change. Then start sourcing parts. If you do not insist on new parts, give Vines Automotive in Alabama a call (they are the first google hit for Vines Automotive), they are a great BMW only salvage yard. If not, keep up with the work/steps that you do along the way, take pictures with a digital camera if you can, so it can be added in the DIY/FAQ section of the website to help the next person down the line.
