I have almost the same situation as you. mines a 92 with about 50,000 miles less than yours. The inside door pannels are a mess and it would be a great help if someone could let us know about maybe some good prices/places to get those. let us know. much appreciated.

ITS GOOD TO KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. TO MAKE A LONG STORY
SHORT I PAID $1500 CASH. SOMEBODY ALREADY OFFERED ME $5000 FOR IT.

MY PLANS: INTERIOR,SUSPENSION, UPGRADED ROTORS, M3 MIRRORS, PAINT, AND THE ENGINE.(I WISH I COULD GET THIS FIRST)

MY BODY WORKS AT ADVANCE AND THEY QUOTED ME 2400.00 FOR A ENGINE MINUS 740.00 FOR THE CORE AND ON TOP OF THAT I GET 20% OFF. BUT THE QUESTION IS ARE THE ENGINES WORTHY FROM ADVANCE AUTO

DAMN!!!!! I thought I got a good price!! thats a phat deal..... for that price its worth doing a complete rebuild. Is that price for an M3 motor....cause thats the only swap thats worth it.....If its something else like a 328, then it might be cheaper to crack the engine open and massage thoes parts.
