So my oil is about to be changed. I've got 2 green bars left on my interval indicator.
I've heard some advise to not reset if you do it early as it will off set the inspection indicator.
1.) is this true even with the peak reset tool?
2.) wouldn't the inspection indicator be left alone if oil is changed. and still come on when XXXXXXXX miles reached?
3.) other?
i dont think its true, reason being is that the SI works on mileage, not on resets, if you get a reset just before the inspection it will still calculate the inspect

he still misses it and doens't like to ride in my car cause he misses his. he had to get rid of it because maint and miles where going add up real fast. I think he did 40k in under a year. so he got a newer car with a warranty
Originally posted by bitcore@Jul 20 2004, 02:36 PM I got a tool too... a paperclip from my mom's desk drawr. Excillent tool.
So if a paper clip works, how do you reset it? My bro just changed my oil for me and it needs to be reset. But will this sensor not be accurate because I changed to synthetic, and I can go farther without changing my oil??
