Bimmer Addicts,

I come from a "Hot Rod" background. Meaning high HP engine (425 rwhp 70 Nova), straight pipes and no computer.

I was wondering if it is necesarry to unhook the battery after doing mods on our cars?

I just put on a new 'peformance' exhaust and was wondering if that is something that I should do; unhook battery for couple mins.

It is definitely 'perkeyer' on the bottom end now! But was wondering if reseting the comp would do anything.

Thanks in advance!

nope. The only thing you can do is buy a reprogramable chip that maximizes your mods. Bavauto sells one.
