how do i reset air bag light on 2004 325i (E46)..i did replaced the air bag now need the light reset..please hellpppp

The mods will move this thread eventually, however, you might want to post it in the E46 section to get a more knowledgeable reply.

In a minute or two of googling I have not found any trick to complete the circuit to reset the light. However, the tool looks like it could be replicated with paper clips like the oil light reset procedure of the E36 cars. However I have no clue as to which holes would need to be jumped to reset the light.

hi your best option and safest is to reset your air bag light by computer diagnostic machines and also do try to reset the light yourself by playing with the wires as this could trigger your air bag.

To reset SRS lamp is only possible by dealer's diagnosis
tool-GT1.

you dont necesarilly need to go to an actual BMW garage, after getting a new seat occupancy sensor your internal computer needs to be reset and most garages can do it (for free depending on how nice you are)

Its also possible with diagnostic kits....Carsoft and PAsoft
