I found some wheels that I liked on wheelexchange and tirerack, but they are too cheap to be original BMW wheels. Does anyone know anything about replica wheels? I have heard that they can bend easy and such. I have been looking on ebay for a while and have not found anything interesting, and don't have the money to give to bavauto for factory wheels or buy a set of real hamann's. Please any infomation on replicas appreciated.
replica wheels, while not quite as good as factory ones, are still damn good. i have a set of replica wheels on my car. ive never had a problem with them and they look extremely good. if u dont mind having replicas, the amount of $$ u save defenitely outweighs the decrease in quality, which isnt even noticable

Thanks, I think I am gonna let this post sit and get some opinions from people and then decide. I just would rather save a little on the wheels so that I can spend the money on real good tires(bridgestones and such).
my wheels are replicas.. bought mine at aaarims.com... great price/great shipping... but along with all wheels.. they can all BEND.. u just gotta be careful!!
i got M3 AC Schnitzer replices on mine, absolutely solid, good rims, apart from my crap parking / kerbing of rims
* though 1 thing I have crappy tyres on mine and will definitely be getting better - Potenza's good on a BMW ?
I've got the 17-inch BBS style (RRS) replicas from aaarims.com on my e-36 convertible. They weigh more than the original aluminum wheels, but I get tons of compliments on the looks. The price wasn't too bad either.
