well since m3's are coupe u can't really say that u've got m3 mirrors on a 4 door, or do they fit anyway? i've been reading posts for 1/2hr now and i've still got no idea. if they dont fit then what can u replace the stock ones with? m3/4 door ones? and is heating installable without having to rewire the stuff? ok a lot of questions but hopefully some will get answered. thnx!
yup they do have 4 door OEM mirrors, the install procedure is the same as for coupes but you have to either find a set for a 4 door (came off the M3/4's) or order them specifically from a site or the dealership.
one of the best things about the m3 is that it was one of the, if not the first 4 door sports car... you can find 4 door mirrors lots of places that are oem and will fit perfectly....
Check the wiring to the mirror. If it has four wires, heat should be plug-n-play. I believe the wire colors are white, black, blue/black, and white/black, but don't quote me on it. My original mirrors were not heated, but the aftermarket ones heat up just fine.
