Replacing HK front tweeter on 99 M3 Conv

Anyone out there know if I have to take the door liner off to replace the tweeter on my Harmon Kardon audio system. Damn kids blew it out playing the Flogging Mollies too loud?

yes, you will need to remove the door panel. Once you get it undone it comes out from the rear.

But when you have removed the door panel, it's a hell of a job to get it back. Do you have any advice how to do this? I have the luck that one rear door panel was removed once and you still can see it

sorry bro, can't say've removed one. I have had to pop it back into place, as the tint shop did a poor job fitting it back on.

There are small plastic things that hold the panel. Pop it off and make sure you're not missing one of these. They sometimes break. Or just give it a good whack, that's all mine needed when it was loose.
