I may be wrong... and you're vocabulary really could be limited because you're new to English/American (

). But, I find it interesting that the words you DO understand are "replacement", "torque", and "gearbox". Also, you could use abbreviations such as "ECU", "q" (internet english) and "&"... and "alot" is technically slang, last time I was in grade school.
You were also able to use future tense ("torque will be increased") and even a pronoun ("sorry to say it"). However, the simple grammar errors that you made are taught first in foreign language learning.
I suspect foul play!
What country are you from/in? English-speaker's are the only ones with BMW forums?
Still, if I am wrong, just for the future... ya... calling him "dear" isn't a bad word, of course. It's sarcastic and seems rude, especially when no one can read facial expressions or the tone of voice.
Anywaz, as for the question, and I'm no mechanic, so check all this out...
If there is any difference in the engine's peak torque, and you say that there is, that would probably mean you need to get a conversion kit or whatever for a new gearbox.
