My OEM replacement battery is now dead. I was told that the Interstate MTP-91 is an acceptable replacement and significantly cheaper than the OEM. I bought the Interstate and removed the original from my car. The Interstate is about an inch shorter than the OEM and the hold down tabs are not adjustable in the battery well. How can I secure this battery without jury rigging my car? Any help will be appreciated.
Take the battery back and get the right one, By the way the original equipment battery on a convertible is different from normal it's vibration resistant. May be for the strengthen shell of the convertible
