Replacing An Ac Air Compressor

ynotony n00b Join Date: May 2005 Car: Posts: 34 Photos:	I am looking to buy a 1994 325i but the owner said the airconditioning compressor is making funny noises and might need to be replaced soon. As of now the air conditioning works perfectly. Compressors seem to cost about 300-500 bucks but could you DIY or is it trickey to install? How much would it all cost me to replace?
