Replacement Mirror

My drivers side mirror developed these orange water spots inside the mirror - I bought a replacement mirror (just the "actual" mirror - NOT the whole housing). Does anyone know how to remove the old one so I can replace it? I found DIY's on the M3 mirror housing switch, but not just the actual mirror change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW - I hope you are all doing well, I haven't been around in a while...

take a large flat headed objet like a spachula and pop it right off.. its that easy

I should have mentioned that my stock mirrors are powered and heated...are there any wires that will break?

i am allmost positive the heat and electric comes from the base of the mirror... so there shouldn't be and visible wires... good luck!

If anyone is curious about this - I gently pulled on one edge of the mirror until it popped off - 2 wires had to be disconnected and reconnected to the new one - whole process took about 45 seconds.

It was like $60 at Bavauto. - not really cheap - better to find someone parting a car out and buy it used -
