i just recently put on a M3 exhaust, and i'm very pleased by it. Except for one thing is that it makes NO sound at all. my stock exhaust sounded quiet but it had some what of a tone. but this one really doesn't. i did notice that the M3 muffler is a little taller and bigger in some ways. but anyways, i was looking on ebay the other day when i came across a Remus Exhaust for Bimmers. i just want my exhaust to have a low and deep tone to it. The UUC exhaust and all the others like that are just way too damn loud for me. but i posted a wav file of what i could find of the Remus Exhaust. Has anyone used one or heard one personally? tell me what you guys think. -Thanks

Remus is a well known exhaust manufacturer from Austria. The cheapest place I could find one is www.autoaccessorystore.com. They are a well-made exhaust, and not too loud as I understand it.

Im not sure about the rust but my friend has one on a 1993 325 and it sounds very nice, has a pretty deep throaty sound. I think its nice if thats what u want, and he cant get enough of it..... no really i cant get him to shut the hell up about it lol. he has had it on for a while (prob a year) and we took it off a week ago to work on the tranny and no rust or anything on it when we had it out.

I've had mine for about 5 years, no rust, it did get a bit louder than when it was new which is normal, no droning on highways, not obnoxious just right, fit and finish is perfect too.
thanks guys. i hope that wav file is pretty close to what it actually sounds like because i'm prolly going to buy one and switch it out soon. what do you guys think of the exhaust note on the wav file?
"tomctx" how come on that site the remus exhaust is only 200.00 i though the remus cat-backs go for like 400-450? I'm looking to buy a good exhaust for my 94 325is and i wanted a remus but because of the low price i wonder if it is good. thanks a lot man. Andrew
