Removing rear seats

All the DIY links are did dead concerning this topic.

So could someone enlighten me on how to remove the rear seats of a 4 door 1996 323i ?

I've done it once in my old 320i but can't remember how to

Lower part was no problem, got that off. It's the top part which is bothering me. I've tried pulling on it (upwards) but it doesn't want to pop off.

The two bolsters on either side pull directly out if I remember correctly... the key to getting the seats themselves out has to do with the mechanism at which they fold down. Its the part they swivel on, on the bottom, I forget exactly how it works, although I think you may need a screw driver or pry bar (light amount of pressure) tab up, tab down something like that. From what I remember it's very easy, just check that piece on the bottom.
