Does anybody know how to remove the E36 convertible back seat? I was able to remove the rear bench but I do not see how to remove the upper portion of the back seat?

Just pull forward while grabbing the top of the seat. it will snap out, then lift the whole seat back up to remove from the bottom clips.

First you have to remove the rear headrest, which took quite a tug on my conv.
then the backrest just pulls forward

ghead But now I've removed the armrest and have a 10" MTX that is mounted where the ski pass through was.
