Removal of back panel in boot - HELP

Hi all,

I am trying to retrofit a PDC so I need to remove the panel in the boot (behind the number plate). There are funny stud things but I cannot work out how to remove them. Can someone please explain.

Are you talking a about the panel behind rear seat center armrest.......aka...ski bag panel?

No, it is the panel below the boot lid lock and below the tail lights on the inside of the boot. However, I believe I have to knock the centre pin inwards and this allows the plugs to be removed.

Does anyone know where the PDC Controller goes on a Compact ? Should it be located behind the rear door / panel cards ? The controller is mounted on a backplate which I assume has a specific mounting point on the Compact ?

oh that one's a bitch, i've had a lot of trouble try to get it off in one piece...

not getting it off, but having the piece in tact so i can put it back on.
