Rear wheel won't turn in neutral -- parking brake released

hello!

I am replacing the rear brake pads and rotors and, not surprisingly, the rotors are not coming off easily.

However, when I put the car in neutral AND released the parking brake, the wheel -- with the old rotor still on it but the calipers removed -- does not turn freely.

It does turn, but something is presenting resistance.

Any ideas?

Siezed wheel bearing maybe? Har you sprayed some penetrating fluid on it to help the rotor come off?

Either a dry wheel-bearing or the inner shoes still binding/over-adjusted !
