Guys maybe you can help me out,

Yesterday my rear-view mirror broke off, instead of breaking clean off the windshield, it took a chunk of the windshield with it, that remained attached to the rear-view mirror button.

How can I re-attach this??, where mirror was attached there is a crater where the glass broke off, I tried to re-attach it by using a rear-view mirror glue kit I got from kragen, but it didnt hold, I assume cause I'm trying to bond glass to glass essentially.

I'm affraid if I try to remove the glass from the that is stuck to the button of the mirror that I will not be able to re-mount it flush with the windsheild.

Is there a special Epoxy I can use to re-attach this?? Any thoughts on what I can do? I would really appreciate it.

Thank You

Nope you gotta use that glue. Follow the instructions and hold it there for longer than it says, it'll hold.
