Rear Strut

it sounds like my passenger-rear strut is out.....

how difficult is it to replace it and how much am i lookin at for parts?

replaceing struts in general are normally not DIY... because u need to have a certain tool which compresses the spring, and strut... i

the only good thing is.. that for rear strut, u'll save yourself some money on alignment.. heh

most kits u'll find are in pairs... so your prollly gunna have to buy both rears... unless u can find 1 at a salvage yard...

You don't have struts on the rear, you have shocks. They are not that difficult to replace. You really don't even have to jack the car to replace them.

It's my opinion that you should replace them in pairs and you need to check the mounts, also. There is a gasket between the mount and the body that is probably going to need replaced while you're there. Is it making a clunking sound? If it is, probably the shock mount is bad.
