Rear Springs

I have a 1992 318is with a suspension problem. The car sits fine until I drive it a short distance then the back left (more than the right) drops down a few inches. After a few hours it will rise back up. p.s. A REAL rough ride!!! Any ideas??Thanks!!

How many miles does your car have? Sounds simply like blown rear shocks.
