Rear Speakers Turn On/off

My rear speakers turn on and off intermitently, (if I go over a bump, etc.) I suspect a loose connection...

where should I check? i checked headunit connections, seems fine... but seeing how all the rear speakers go out at once, is there some kind of relay that wires into the rear speakers?

well if you already checked by your head unit the chances of the error being in the back is pretty good. i would take a look at the connection into your rear speakers my bet is the connection is either loose going onto the speakers, or the wire is shorting out somewhere... which might b a better chioce since both rear speakers go out. Find where the wire splits to go to the 2 speakers and try to find a bare wire etc

The wiring almost inevitably reaches a point when it needs to be redone or retouched. My entire audio system works at times only, usually when it is cold (47 degrees or lower, I have no idea why but that threshold is pretty consistent) hehe. Good luck. Some wire needs to be wrapped with electrical tape or simply (easily said) replaced. Good luck!
