You mean like getting bucket seats for the back too??? or more confortable/classy racing seats??

I remember seeing a modified civic with individual bucket seats in the back with a NOS bottle as an common arm rest..

Instead of matching the front i found them to be out of place..

I really don't know where you'd find some...but i bet sparco has something.

you could not add in racing seats for the rear of an e36. The design of the car and shape of the seats wont allow it. The best you can hope for is a two tone upholstery job.

If there's no pre-made aftermarket solution for it, odds are it's going to cost a lot of money.

No, you CAN NOT fit racing seats in the back, custom made or otherwise. The design of the car WILL NOT allow it.

That is of course assuming you don't want to drop the differential and convert the car to FWD, relocate the gas tank to the differentials former location, relocate the airbag control unit that is housed under the rear seat and recalibrate it for its new location, and have a completely new floor built to allow for actual clearance the seats need, then stetching the wheelbase (and therefore relocating the rear suspension setup as well) to allow the new floor in place without coming in contact with the rear wheels and reworking the exhuast piping so it accomodates the new underbody shape, plus adding all sorts of body work to both allow the wheels to fit where the bumper was and to coverup the hole created by where the wheels were. I suppose doing all that would make it possible.

Are you talking about a front racing seat palaced into the back? thats not what i was thinking... Just have them re-aphualstered or however you say it. Still very expensive.

get a fabric shop or somthing to rip off the leather, and put on a fabric that most resembles the racing seats in front..
You should have clarified this in the first place

Dude why would you want bucket racing seats in the back you know how hard that would be? J/K

Yeah someone posted in the ride forums with custom suede interior on his seat. Any respectable upholstery shop would be able to hook you up( for a price).
