Hey folks, I just purchased a '92 325i 4dr on Friday of last week and decided to change the brakes. When I started doing the rear, as Im looking down the lower arm I see that the pivot bolt is hanging and the special "plate nut" that is supposed to be on there is gone. Although it was only a $12.56 part, had I not seen this, it could have been quite pricey. I spoke to a service tech at BMW of Riverside, CA, he mentioned that this was a bit redundant. SO PLEASE CRAWL UNDER YOUR CAR AND CHECK IT OUT! I t might save you a lot of problems.
