Rear Brakes Rattling!!!!! HELP!!

Everytime I go over a bump my rear brakes rattle.

This stops if I have even the slightest pressure on the brakes. Then I can go over any bump in the road and hear nothing.

What could this be? Is it something as simple as my brake pads?

Please help!!

Yes, I'll bet that's exactly what it is. Mine did the same thing and I wasted alot of time fabricating shims that worked great for a couple of weeks and then fell out. When I finally took the old rear pads out to replace them, I found (as I suspect you will, too) that the clips that hold the inner rear pad into the caliper piston have rusted and broken allowing the pad to rattle in the caliper.
The reason they rust and break is that we generally go through three to four sets of front pads for every set of rears that wear to the point that the wear sensor goes off. Your rear pads could be three or four years old depending on how you drive...still, I'll bet you'll find those clips are broken...
