Really dumb light replacement question

One of my license plate lights is out. So I pick up the manual..okay looks easy enough. Remove 4 screws..do that. Now it says just slide the lense to the left. used: Short of using a sledge hammer I can't get the damn thing to move! lol Simetimes the simpilist things are the biggest pain in the ass.. any ideas?

As I remember you remove the cover and then leaver out the light from the right as you look at it, you have to be forceful

It worked..I was just afraid of breaking something. I had to take a screwdriver and pry it down.
