Rattle Below My Console

i have an auto tranny and between 20mph and about 45mph i get this rattling sound coming from under my console(maybe under the car), any suggestions would be appreciated

guibo? i think thas how u spell it. most likely, the way i understand, its during take-off. there is a rubber disk held on by 6 bolts under the car, from the transmission to the driveshaft. Its built to smoothen out the vibration, but as all rubber parts, it wears out. the dealer sells the part and its a couple hours of labor to install....but refresh me, it is when your taking off, and the shakin is more towards the rear ash tray in the car?

thats right meaning thats where the problem is located (under the ash tray)? or that is the problem (the guibo)?if ur saying it is by the rear ash tray, its almost 99% that the guibo is the problem. its available at dealer for sure. not sure if maybe at www.bavauto.com also.

it sounds like its coming from right under the armrest to the rear ashtray, at 20mph-45mph

I'd check the above first.. and then if that isnt your problem.. I'd go and check your tranny mount... could be either loose.. or just old and needs to be replaced...

if its the armrest area, then yeah, i know my friend has that problem too! planning on changing it for him, so if you dont do it first, i can let you know how easy it is. but i have no clue when im gonna get to it! i saw it though. its like, 6 or 8 bolts. cant remember exactly. but doesnt seem all too hard! good luck
