Random shut down and won't start back up/ check engine

Please help! I have a 95 325IS and my problem is my car shuts off sometimes while driving, and when try to start again the check engine light will not illuminate and causes it not to turn over. I can wait a few hours and the check engine light comes on and cranks like a champ. Please help if you've had this problem before.

its your camshaft postioning sensor thats why it dies when driving did you pull the codes from car using the stomp test? pull the code and it should be cam shaft sensor
