Radio Code / Key Copy ??

Yeah the server got down and my topic went off..
anyways here i go again

I bought a 95 318is. I got it from europe , and i live in lebanon, (middle east) where dealers are quite rascals.
Anyways i have 3 questions please help

1 - the guy only gave me one key, i went to copy it, but the copy could only open doors and in the ignition it turns but doesnt start the engine. is it true like i heard that 95 models have inside key chips ?


2- My radio FM range is from 70 to 90 FM . and in my country the FM channels are from 80 to 105 .i have the old model not the bavaria one. is there a code kindda thingy or i have to replace it ?

3- How to switch the clock from 24h to AM/PM mode ?

question 1- yes there is a chip in the key,
question 2- im not too sure, you may have to ask the dealership to help you out with this one, or get a new deck
question 3- which obc do you have? the basic-basic one? has like only 7 buttons? if so then hold clock until flashing and then hit the date button? (shit i dont remember ive only done this once on the basic OBC, but thats what you do, clock flashing then hit one of the other buttons to change the clock to am/pm)

for the deck you need to replace the internal tuner. Im not sure thats possible, so I'd start looking for a new deck.

Furious..i re-checked that key thingy.. u know once i opened it and only found a battery and the small light . newayz i opened it again and hell yeah i found this small cute electronic chip..
guyz ? i don have to install that alarm thingy that comes with the 93 models do i ? (the one with a small chip u insert and then take out and then u start ignition)

About the OBC (well yeah i have the old one (temp. and clock only) u have to keep pressing on either Date/Time or something else. then when its flashing i press on the Celsius/Fahrenheit button. so the clock converts from 24 system to am.pm oh and i also noticed that when the clock is on 24/24 the date is displayed in the day/ month format whereas if its AM/PM then the date is displayed in the month / day format. Kewl.

Humm... guyz i think am gonna relate to my local BMW agent to see about the key.. i will pay some extra bucks but will take off much of the hassle
