Radiator Filling Process

I put in a new water pump and radiator. Now I need to refill the system. Is there anything special I need to do? I filled up the reservoir, but that seems like it is not going to be enough fluid for the whole system.

I did check the Bentley manual but did not find anything about refill process (other than the air bleed process)

I just replaced the radiator in my daughters 1995 325 also. Pull the upper radiator hose off and fill the block with coolant through the hose. Reinstall the hose and start and run the car topping up the coolant in the expansion tank.

If you can do this with the nose of the car up, it will help purge air from the block and into the radiator. Also put the heater up on max to help purge the air from the heater core as well.
