radiator fan / a/c fan help please

I bought this 94 325i 2.5l and while doing the fixing and paint prep I noticed the outer fan which i think is accessory (a/c ?) is locked up. I took it apart and the motor is locked up. I looked on ebay and there are several universal for $25 shipped which is ok, but mine has three wires, black, blue and blue/white wires and the ebay ones only have two wires. Possible low and high speed? are these fans ok?
thanks for any assistance in advance.

chad

Black goes to grd, blue /white is normal speed and blue is high sp. your new fan may be high which would be good--try it it'll be OK
