greetings to all,
i have a 92 318is, its a great little car. however it is currently having window and sunroof troubles in addition the the locks not working either. they are dead and do not work at all. I am currently in Iraq and I am letting my girlfriend drive my car, so she can save on gas and so my car doesnt sit there rotting for the next year while i am away. the fuses are fine and she changed the comfort relay below the steering column that offered no change. when i was on leave i checked the power to all the motors and switches. they have power. rather then wasting my time on leave with the car i left it. after doing research online i have come to some final possibilities. and the mostly likely being the circuit break for the windows and locks on the steering column. i am not aware of where this switch is located as all the descriptions are piss poor. my gf didnt see anything when i tried to tell her.. so what i am asking for is any help in this matter and hopefully a PICTURE I can send my girl so she doesnt have to spend an arm and a leg at a shop and i dont have to worry about rain ruining my car anymore then it has.
