ok, manual 95 325i with intake, hi performance coils and plugs, 18'' wheels (im sure the weight matters???)
vs
auto 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T, all stock
might be a dumb question, still, i might get my bros 325 and a friend might get a 1.8T, he says he can take me, but i really dunno, i know my brothers 325 is pretty fast, but ive never been in or driven a 1.8t

From wat I understand, the newer VWs are not very DIY friendly. A vehicle that is so much newer than your brother's BMW still seems very tempting, but you know what you are looking for. If all you wanted was a car, you would have just settled for the Eclipse, right?
