Is this the M3 rear diffuser that I'm looking for? used

A site is selling this item above but it says "M3 rear bumper spoiler" and I don't know if that is what some folks call the M3 rear diffuser?

I'm looking for the thing that is called a "M3 style E36 rear diffuser" (Deloriant has it on his car-see below) to hook up my 318i....

The one in your pic is the diffuser, but it looks like it's for a dual exhaust. The 318 is single exhaust.

yea that is your rear difuser although the single exhaust might look a little skimpy in that opening.

So I can just add the diffuser to my existing stock bumper? Is that the only difference?

From what I understand the OEM diffuser will need some modification to fit.
The diffuser from Bavauto is a direct fit.

^^ exactly. An OEM M3 rear diffuser will not alighn properly along the sides. The diffuser will stick out and look out of place.

That diffuser is an piece that goes on top of the bumper same as in the bavauto picture. Deloriants is an actual M3 bumper. The difference is that the real bumper the diffuser is sunk in a bit where as the other ones stick out from the bumper. I looked into them and decided that if I was going to do it I would do it right and get the full bumper I just think the other doesn;t look as good.
