hey guys
i was thining of buying this set of M3 rims, although one has a bent lip....do you think i should still go for it ?

Also the owner said the bend does not affect the air or the balance of the tire as a whole while driving. i could buy a new one later on...but was wondering what to do for now.

the links still aren't working...if you feel you can deal with a bent rim, then go for it. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I wouldn't go for it unless it was an EXTREMELY low price...post a pic possibly?

Haha Blanton, I sent the EXACT same thing to him in a PM.
Links work for me. I have two wheels with a similar flaw, and I don't notice it a bit. Trust me, I am anal, and if the ride was effected, I would notice. I'm not saying those wheels are fine, I'm just saying that, just because a wheel has a small bend in it, doesn't mean you will deffinately notice it.
I would be more concerned by the fact that it looks like he went offroading with 'em and didn't even care to clean them up prior to selling....
They bends look more like kerbing damage which has been repaired. If they are cheap then go for it, it won't affect the rider.
If the damage is worse than it looks or they are priced similarily to perfect rims then forget them.

ya the price is 390 shipped for all 4 with pretty much brand new all season michelon tires.
i dont have cash now and want a cheap set for the summer. in a yr when i have a job will get some haman H2's lol

If you are planning on replacing them in a year or so then go for it! (as long as you can afford it)

theres that good price I was talking about...shipping is what kills people with rims...Honestly, after seeing the pics ( I did just get the link to work, haha) they look like they are in good enough shape. The even better thing-they look like the Hyper-silver rims, which are so much better...The tread on the tires don't look that bad either...I would go for it if I had the money...

Also, when i get the tires put on, he said they were balanced already, so do i have to get alignment again.?

yea i asked him to ship it to a local tire shop here, they said they will take a look at it and will try fixing it if possible, so lets see.
will post pics when i get them on.
At this point dont think i am gonna sell the old ones , might keep them as my snow package...lol....also all my old ones are somehow slightly bent (not visibly) and cuz slight steering vibrations so i doubt its worth selling to anyone.
however once i get these 17"s on , we can figure it out, pm me with a ballpark figure if interested so i will keep it in mind.
