Okay the guy I bought my new (used) m3 motor from called me and told me about a possible problem I could have concerning the m3 security. He said it's possible this motor won't start without some kind of security module or ignition specially designed for that motor. I have never heard anything about this before in my life so I thought I'd ask about it.
another question. I'm more then likely going to do the obd1 conversion while the motor is still out of the car. I know I need to get a m50 manifold and wiring harness/ecu to do this. do these parts need to be from a 94/95 obd1 car though? I still have my wiring harness for my 325i, but I doubt this will work. any info on this?
