Questionable Mod

Would anyone know what the hell this is and what it does for your e36? And why is the price so damn cheap. Is this even for an actual automobile or a radio controlled car?

i've seen theese things everywhere on ebay. All it is is a kit that shows u how to do some cheap mod. The kit says to get a resistor (less than $1 at radio shack), and tells u where to put it. I'm pretty sure it actually does work(less than 5 hp tho) but it usually requires premium fuel and will make ur check engine light go on. i would stay away from cheap crap like that.
