| Hi all this is my first post! I have a 93 325is and I have recently sent it to the shop for some repairs and some regular service. My problem is that there is a hiss that is coming from under the hood. My mechanic told me there is nothing that he can do about this problem. I think its has something to do with vacuum lines and what not. He told me there is no vacuum lines on that car. He also informed me that the intake manifold is plastic , and thats the reason that it makes that noise. I was wondering if any of you had the same problem with your cars. Please let me know and if any of you have had the same problem with your maybe you could give me a tip to help me fix mine. Its so embarassing driving down the road with a bimmer that is on 18's and theres damn hissing comming from it. I appreciate all your help guys. Thanks JT |
