I WAS WONDERING I AM THINKING OF FIXING UP MY 1993 318IS WITH 129000 MILES ON IT WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND I WAS WONDERING IF I GET NEW RIMS AND PAINT THE GRAY TRIM AND NEW SEATS AND CARPET. WHAT DO YOU THINK I COULD SELL IT FOR. I BOUGHT IT FOR $3450. AND IF ANY OF YOU KNOW AND IMPROVEMNTS TO INCREASE THE VALUE LET ME KNOW

You could probably get what you paid. When you start to do these things they will increase the value but not usually by the amount you pay to do them so you are losing money. If you are still going to drive the car then do the things you would like to do to enjoy the car more. Performance mods can have a negative effect on selling the car, while aesthetic mods will be positive.

I did something wrong I guess..... You could get a report there yourself, or search for the same cars on eBay!

Easy: If you don't put any more miles on it, clean it up and put nicer OEM rims and new OEM interior parts, clean the engine bay and the uder carriage, and last but never least when it comes to getting the most dough outta your used car, is put a nice armor-all shine on the tires.

Remember vanity upgrades and improvements carry less weight than mechanical improvements and soundness when trying to improve resale value....

I would hold on to my car if I was you. Dude you are 16 yrs old and your 1st whip is a BMW...just relax and enjoy it instead of working yourself up over resale values and extra stuff like that.....
