right know as some of you may know i have a 1993 318is bmw all stock and on ebay i saw a set of rims that are 16's for around 100 dollars. that to me sounds like a steal so i was wondering what size are stock rims on the 318is and if i should buy the rims they are off of a 1996 and i think they a the z3 series and i wondering if that would just look dumb but i think they would look better then my bottle cap rims!
Stock is 15" for the bottle caps and 16's are noticable but not much, they still look stock and not near as good as 17 or 18s. Also if they are a Z3 you need to see if they will fit. Check the offset and bolt pattern. I am not sure what it is for a Z3 but I am sure you could find out. The E36 318 should be 5x120 and somewhere around 38mm offset. Post some pics and show us what they look like.
Yeah those are the Z3 style 55. I think both you and delmarco are looking at the same internet auction as he posted asking about those rims also in the members lounge.
