Question regarding anti-traction

It's been icy around Seattle for the last few days and I noticed that my anti-traction has been used a lot. Is it bad for this to be used a lot. Sorry if this is a dumb question... I just don't want to burn/wear anything out.

no its not bad....actually traction control should stay on all the time for the most part, unless u are about to launch in a race....
