question about aimbeant temp sensor

when i got my 95' 325i the right air duct and the aimbeant temp sensor were missing, i got the duct and temp sensor but the wire that should plug into it is missing the male part that would plug into the female sensor, anyone know where i can get this part or if i could just attach the wires directly to it(i tried just touching the 2 wires to the 2 prongs in the female sensor and while holding them turned on the car but it still didn't work, i think it might be b/c the computer has to be reset...which leads to my next question. With the male adapter or just directly wired to the prongs, do you have to reset the computer to make it work??? Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

well this calls for the old test light. see if you are even getting power to the wire.

Temp. sensor is on the left airduct, not right. The driver's side.

I will test the wires to see if i am getting power, thanks furious. When i said the right i meant if you were standing in front of the car facing it, sorry, should have clarified that.
