hey i have a stock 318is and was thinking that since i got my windows tinted it may look good painting my stock rims black please tell me what you tink my car is red by the way and if you have any pics of people who have painted them please post

I have a question for you, what does your question have to do with the title of your post other than saying that you have a question? Most threads are questions... theres even a button of a question mark you can use to lable this thread as having been started with a question. However not to be a troll I will put in my .02

Which stock rims do you have? There are many different stock rims. I do like black rims, but I do not think it will looks that great on the red car (mines red too I've been thinkging about it). Unless the wheel does not have a large visual aread. For instance a skinny star shaped wheel would look good. But to paint the 18 spoke stock sport wheels black would look horrible.

yep no go. I got those same rims.. .it would be very gross.

justin if you found some other BMW wheels, or aftermarket ones it might look better.

There was a thread while back where someone, i forget who, painted the center peice of the bottle cap rims black and left the lip silver. It looked decent in pictures, but i doubt it would look good in person.
