i know the grooves in pic 2 are dusty and dirty, gota find a thin brush or something to clean it...also a new cig lighter maybe ?

na man its a hampton court cigar, they come in those cases....if you see carefully in pic too its got the surgical warning....lol

na man, posted a reply in the other thread about that.
basically gota wait for my cylinder to freeze and hope it freezes in the run position, doubt it will but since urs doesnt lock i got hope for it to work fine.
other option is to figure out how to remove steering lock feature or to remove the key when in run position

i got it from the dealer down here, got it when i just bought my car cuz it came with a torn leather one....think it might be an M-tech one but not sure. its leather/chrome

hey
if i remember right i think i paid 75 or 80 with the next day shipping, think the next day only added 8-9 bucks. check with a dealer.
also last night after i finished installing the push button my car would not start, i drained the battery completely while testing it so many times. got a buddy to jump start the car and it went all good....also for some reason, maybe cuz i dont know how to use the butt connectors i would clamp them and it would get looser, so i tapped the two toggle wires too...hope it last.....
also my wires ran from behind the obc, little above it to the relay ignition area, think it was diff in your DIY for your car so dont know if you want to update it for people with 96 328i or newer.
also my obc was working fine but after i put it back last night the right half of the lights have dimmed out a lot again. it happened a month ago and i took it out tapped it and put it in and it worked fine, all bright. tried the same thing again but no luck...hope i didnt blow out a bulb

glad you were able to get it all set up. Did you fix the key issue/locking steering wheel?
