Problems Are Starting...please Help

Hi all,
I have had my 96 328 for a bit over a year now and it has 85k on it. It has been doing the "check coolant level" thing that others have posted about since basically day 1, but thats just background. Anyway, recently its been making this whurrring noise from under the car. I believe it's wheel noise because it remains the same whether I'm in gear or not. Also, it gets higher in pitch as I speed up and seems to hit nat. frequencies around 30 and 50 mph (strong vibrations). Along with this, my AC/Heat unit is not working. It powers off by itself and will not turn back on (similar to what others describe). Could this be the unit itself or does it have something to do with the system (clogged ducts or something). Help on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

ur ac problem is because of a capacitor. i think it is 22ufd dont remember. u need to buy it online its not available at either radioshack or any other store.

regd ur coolant level, have u filled up ur coolant? how often does it seem to be leaking? is there white smoke comin out the exhaust?

regd the whurring noise it cud be either - water pump or low pressure on power steering hoses they tend to cause tht noise.
