Hello,

I just bought a 328i exe (e-36) cabrio with a electric cabrioroof.

now when i turn the key the led flashes above the bottun to open the roof.

The dealer told me they had to teset the computer (because the car has not moved for 6 month).

but is there a way to reset the computer by myself?

thanks.

There is no way to clear faults in the CVM (top module) without the proper equipment. Also, if the top switch just flashes and the top does not operate then a simple clearing of faults is most likely not going to fix this. I recommend taking it to a shop who can diagnose the problem.

because the voltage has been to low, the computer could not found the electric roof.

the connect the computer in the workshop, and I had to wait one hour.

cost: € 46,-- euros!

everytime the voltages drops low this problem comes back!
sow keep your battery up!!
